Healthcare professionals are invited apply for a leading role for a new diabetes and surgery project.
The Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC) and the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) are recruiting a clinical lead to join the Diabetes in Surgery Quality Improvement Project.
The successful applicant will be a consultant – or an equivalent senior level healthcare professional – with an interest in diabetes from any specialty.
As part of the role, the clinical lead will be required to undertake the following activities:
- Act as project champion
- Identify quality measures
- Agree criteria / expectations for participating trusts
- Help to recruit trusts
- Attend at collaborative meetings and webinars
- Provide ongoing advice
- Communications and stakeholder engagement
