Dr Omar Mustafa, Consultant Physician in Diabetes and General Internal Medicine based at King’s College Hospital in London, has taken on the role of co-chair of the Joint British Diabetes Societies for Inpatient Care group (JBDS-IP).

He said: “I am honoured and delighted to take up the role of co-chair of the JBDS-IP. I look forward to working with colleagues and partners to raise the standards, improve quality of care and encourage innovations in inpatient diabetes care.”
