Healthcare professionals with a broad range of experience in the field of diabetic retinopathy are being sought to join a NICE guideline committee.
The National Institute for Health Care and Excellence has new vacancies for committee members to join a team of established healthcare professionals who offer their clinical expertise around diabetic retinopathy.
The successful applicants are expected to stay in the position for up to two years and will contribute to the committee’s guideline decisions.
The medical roles being recruited include:
- Consultant Ophthalmologist
- Paediatric Ophthalmologist
- Specialist Ophthalmology Nurse
- Optometrist
- GP
- Eye Clinic Liaison Officer
- Commissioner
There are also opportunities for the following professionals to join the committee as a co-opted committee member:
- Adult Diabetes Consultant
- Paediatric Diabetes Consultant
- Diabetes Nurse
The deadline for applications is Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 5pm.
