Date unveiled for King’s Charcot Foot Reconstruction Symposium 2022

A prominent diabetic foot clinic has announced the date of its forthcoming annual symposium. 

The King’s Diabetic Foot Clinic has opened registration for this years’ meeting, which will be held over two days on Friday, June 24, and Saturday, June 25, at the Fetal Medicine Research Institute in London.

‘The Multidisciplinary and Surgical Reconstruction of the Charcot Foot: 8th Annual Symposium’, will focus on examining modern diagnosis of Charcot Foot.

A widely recognised faculty will discuss the well-established and emerging treatment methods through delivering didactic lectures, interactive presentations, and case discussions.

Various other topics will also be discussed during the event, including podiatric management, treatment of infection, peripheral arterial disease, and complex midfoot and hindfoot reconstruction.

The prestigious symposium will be directed by Professor Michael Edmonds, Consultant Physician at King’s College Hospital, and Professor Venu Kavarthapu, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at King’s College Hospital.

Surgeons, physicians, podiatrists, orthotists and other healthcare professionals with an interest in multidisciplinary diabetic foot care are entitled to attend the event.

According to the organisers, registered delegates will have the opportunity to attend every session.

The Royal College of Surgeons of England will award registered delegates with 12 CPD points for attending.
