An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join the Lincolnshire Countywide Diabetes Team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a senior nurse who has experience of working with patients with diabetes and has a passion to develop their existing knowledge and skills to shape the current and existing service.
This post is for 37.5hrs and will ideally be based in the North of the County (such as in Louth or Horncastle). However, the base can be negotiated for successful candidates. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to prioritise tasks. The ability to manage time effectively and work flexibly within the team is essential and you will need to be able to commute countywide at times to meet the needs of this role.
Consideration would also be made for an experienced Band 6 clinician who wishes to develop their diabetes skills and knowledge to be become a future senior specialist in diabetes nursing.
