Due to the retirement of the previous post holder, we have an exciting opportunity within the Worcestershire Countywide Diabetes Nursing Team for a Senior Diabetes Specialist Nurse. This post will be based at Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, but you may be required to cross cover on other sites from time to time. Diabetes care is in an exciting new phase with technology providing an increasing role in helping people with diabetes to live well with the condition. If you are a motivated enthusiastic nurse with an in-depth clinical knowledge of diabetes, this could be the role for you. Recent experience of managing a caseload of people with diabetes is essential. We will provide a supportive environment with excellent team working so that together we can provide the best care for people living with diabetes. This role is varied as we provide an inpatient service, community service, diabetes structured education and antenatal care.
