An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse. The successful candidate will work within a nationally and internationally recognised diabetes team. This large unit is well known for its dynamic and innovative delivery of diabetes services. Working within a multi-professional team of Diabetologists/Endocrinologists, diabetes specialist dietitians, diabetes podiatrists, diabetes pharmacists and a team of diabetes specialist nurses. The role will include undertaking Specialist clinics and community clinics and reviewing people with diabetes whilst inpatients. Members of the team are all actively encouraged to take part in service audits and developments.
