The post holder will be passionate about diabetes and experienced in working with those with diabetes in pregnancy. They will review maternity care for those service users in conjunction with the Obstetric Consultants, Consultants in Diabetes and Endocrinology, Diabetic Specialist Nurses, Dieticians and wider multidisciplinary teams (MDT). Working collaboratively, the post holder will benchmark current services against the requirements of Saving Babies Lives Version 3, NICE and NHSR Maternity Incentive Scheme, identifying the changes required and taking prompt action to implement these changes to enable compliance.
