We have an opportunity for a registered nurse who is experienced in managing patients with diabetes. You will have recent experience with caring for patients with diabetes, supporting newly diagnosed patients and longer-term patients who are uncontrolled or experiencing difficulties obtaining and maintaining control of their diabetes.
You will be fully supported by the multidisciplinary team working alongside band 7 nurses until competent to work alone.
There will be inpatient work; admission avoidance and routine follow up clinics. The role will allow you to develop your knowledge of managing diabetes and will include exposure to patient education and the specialities within diabetes; including maternity, renal, pumps, sensors and transition clinics.
