Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute and specialised hospital trust that provides a range of local acute services to the residents of Worcestershire and more specialised services to a larger population in Herefordshire and beyond.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated Consultant to join our Diabetes & Endocrinology Team at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. The successful applicant will join a cohesive and enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team, and will be encouraged to develop sub-specialist interests which may include diabetes antenatal care, thyroid medicine, in-patient diabetes, young adults with diabetes, bariatric medicine, diabetic nephropathy and foot disease. An aspiration to lead within any of these disciplines would be welcomed.
The team currently operate on a 1 in 4 Consultant of the week model, and a 1 in 12 on-call for GIM.
