Teams which have gone above and beyond to improve diabetes care have been celebrated at the 15th annual Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes Awards.
The highly respected awards ceremony took place on the evening of Thursday, November 6, at Sanofi’s UK headquarters in Reading.
QiC Diabetes celebrates programmes that make a meaningful difference to the lives of people with diabetes, with winners selected by panels drawn from the NHS, industry and the diabetes community.
Karen Palmer, Head of General Medicines UKIE (Interim) at Sanofi, said: “This initiative exemplifies the NHS’s core value of commitment to quality care.
“By recognising and rewarding innovations that benefit people living with diabetes, the QiC programme is driving meaningful improvements in healthcare.”
She added: “It serves as a platform for sharing best practices and novel solutions to daily challenges faced by both healthcare professionals and individuals impacted by diabetes. The QiC programme truly embodies the NHS’s dedication to excellence in patient care.”
