Best practice in UK diabetes care recognised at QiC Awards 2024

Outstanding individuals from the diabetes community were honoured for their contributions at the 14th annual Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes Awards.

Roughly 100 people attended the ceremony, which took place on the evening of Thursday, October 31, at Sanofi’s UK headquarters in Reading.

QiC Diabetes recognises, rewards and shares innovative practice demonstrating quality in diabetes management, education and services for people with the condition and/or their families.

A QiC award means an initiative has been recognised by the NHS, people with diabetes and industry as improving the quality of life for individuals living with the condition.

Debbie Woods, Head of Medical General Medicines UK and Ireland Sanofi, said: “Sanofi is delighted to support the QiC Programme in 2024 and to recognise and reward the innovations that will benefit people living with diabetes.

“The QiC Programme is at the forefront of sharing best practice to improve the quality of care, through demonstrating novel solutions to problems encountered by healthcare professionals and those impacted by diabetes on a daily basis.”

She added: “Sanofi is proud to be the sponsor of QiC Diabetes and support this programme that is dedicated to recognise, share and reward excellence in diabetes care.”
