Registration open for national inpatient diabetes event

The management of diabetes in an inpatient setting will be the focus of a healthcare professional conference in June.

Taking place at The Royal Society of Medicine’s headquarters in London on Tuesday, June 11, the Inpatient Diabetes Conference 2024 will showcase new innovations that could help improve glycaemic control.

The event – which is being hosted by The Royal Society of Medicine, the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD) and the Joint British Diabetes Societies (JBDS) for inpatient care – will feature renowned speakers.

During this conference, attendees will:

  • Learn how to provide an accredited service for inpatient diabetes
  • Apply the latest guideline changes in the management of DKA/HHS and how to use diabetes technology effectively
  • Learn how to manage challenges faced by people with diabetes on the wards, such as enteral feeding, steroids, peripartum and perioperative periods.

Delegates can also submit an abstract form to share their work.
