Healthcare teams invited to complete homelessness survey

Diabetes teams across the UK are being asked to take part in a survey to help improve the health outcomes of homeless people living with the condition.

The survey aims to highlight the challenges of managing diabetes when people are homeless, and to outline the innovative practice that is currently available.

Data gathered from the questionnaire will be used in a journal article that will profile and support the need for innovative approaches to care.

Additionally, guidance and e-learning on diabetes and homelessness will be developed from the data.

Developed by the homelessness charity Pathway, the survey was supported by the University of Plymouth from a research and ethics perspective.

The survey closes on Sunday, March 3.
