Diabetic neuropathy webinar open for registration

A new online event looking at the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain will take place in May.

The webinar will look at the different care options for diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain (DPNP) and summarise on the OPTION-DM trial – which established the most clinically beneficial and best tolerated treatment pathway for people with DPNP.

In addition, the virtual session will cover the practical tips and pitfalls to avoid for the treatment of DPNP.

Entitled ‘Keeping the OPTIONs open for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain’, the webinar will take place on Thursday, May 4, between 5pm and 6pm.

Professor Gerry Rayman, Consultant Physician at the Diabetes and Endocrine Centre, Ipswich Hospitals NHS Trust, is chairing the event, and Dr Kevin Fernando, GP Partner at North Berwick Health Centre, is speaking.

Open to any healthcare professionals, the 60-minute webinar will include a live Q&A at the end of the session.
