There is still time to sign up to this year’s Hypo Awareness Week, which aims to raise awareness of hypoglycaemia among healthcare workers in hospitals and primary care sites.
Registrations are still being taken ahead of the week-long campaign, which runs from Monday, October 3 to Sunday, October 9.
There is a small number of printed resource packs still available so make sure you sign up soon to get yours in plenty of time. The packs will be distributed on a first come first served basis. They include posters, stickers, t-shirts, pens and a pledge board to share key messages around hypoglycaemia on social media.
Last year, 456 sites took part in the national event, which is organised by Orange Juice Communications.
To take part in this year’s HAW, email kate.darby@ojpr.co.uk with the following information: lead organiser’s name, name of trust / organisation, number and names of participating sites, telephone number, address for printed pack and whether or not you require t-shirts and the amount needed (up to four allowed).
This project has been funded by Sanofi who have had no input into any arrangements or content.
