New members required for NICE diabetic retinopathy committee

Healthcare professionals with a broad range of experience in the field of diabetic retinopathy are being sought to join a NICE guideline committee.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is looking for a paediatric ophthalmologist and a commissioner to join the ‘Diabetic Retinopathy Guideline Committee’.

There are also opportunities for the following professionals to join the committee as a co-opted committee member:

• Adult diabetes consultant
• Paediatric diabetes consultant.

Successful applicants must commit to the role for 18 months to two years and contribute towards multiple guidelines regarding diabetic retinopathy.

The deadline for applications is Monday, May 16, at 5pm.
